Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Requirements include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. PALS is required for ER coworkers; ACLS is preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS certification required for ER staff.
• ACLS is preferred.
• No prior experience required; candidate must be physically capable of required tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
