Job summary

OU Health's Neonatal ICU (NICU) residency program seeks RN residents to join our Level IV NICU team in Oklahoma City. The two-year program includes a 14-week split orientation, didactic education, SIM labs, and bedside preceptorship.

Year 2 emphasizes a quality improvement project and board exam preparation. As an RN I, you will deliver high-quality care, collaborate with neonatal specialists, and advance through leadership opportunities as you gain experience in ECMO, CRRT, and therapeutic

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license (OK or compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Align behaviors with OU Health values and nursing standards.
• Manage an assigned patient or group and document responses.
• Assist physicians with examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed.
• Administer medications and IV infusions safely.
• Provide patient care, discharge planning, and family communication.
• Collaborate with staff to resolve patient concerns and maintain quality care.
