Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Level IV NICU within a full-time night shift. You will deliver direct neonatal care, monitor critically ill newborns, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program.
• Eligible to take the Board of Nursing examination, or have passed.
• Endorsement in the state of MO.
• AHA Healthcare Provider certification required, or completed within probationary period.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care for neonatal patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Respond to emergencies and advocate for patients and families.
• Participate in unit and hospital improvement initiatives and share best practices.
