Mercy’s Level IV NICU seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct neonatal care in a high-acuity setting. You’ll collaborate with physicians and therapists, coordinate care, and advocate for patients and families.

The unit offers a renowned Nurse Residency Program and a supportive environment designed for new graduates and experienced nurses alike. Ideal candidates are committed to neonatal nursing, with strong critical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Education: graduate of a state-approved nursing program.
• Licensure: eligible to take the Nursing exam, or have passed; MO endorsement.
• Experience: no experience required; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Certifications: AHA Healthcare Provider certification required or within probationary period.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct neonatal patient care using nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver evidence-based care in a high-acuity NICU environment.
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Educate and support families; participate in unit and hospital improvement efforts.
