Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Texas or eligibility to practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP certification preferred.
• PALS and COAP are preferred classifications for NICU care.
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills; patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs tests and administers medications within RN scope.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, meds, and self-care.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve care goals.
