Job summary

Mercy Joplin’s Birthing Center seeks experienced NICU/L&D RNs to join a 15-suite unit with Level III NICU and two OR rooms. Responsibilities include direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality while aligning with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications include a Nursing degree, active RN license in Missouri or a compact state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality; adheres to Mercy Service Standards.
