Job summary

Mount Carmel East in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our NICU team. The NICU is a Level III, 15-bed unit caring for infants from 22 weeks to term, with an open bay and 2 private rooms.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage patient care.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients.
• Administer medications as directed by the provider.
• Assist in emergency situations and educate patients and families.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Coordinate care with other caregivers as appropriate.
