Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced RN for our NICU unit, caring for infants 32 weeks and older during extended hospitalization. You will work nights with a collaborative interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and monitor infants closely.

Requirements include ASN with RN license in Indiana or NLC, BSN preferred, and BLS certification. Expect a 10-week orientation and a supportive environment focused on family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Requires an ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may apply with acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals, and draw blood.
• Administer medications, therapies, and nutrition per NICU physicians.
• Assist with IV insertions, labs, and tube feedings as needed.
• Collaborate with NICU team, physicians, and APPs on care plans.
• Provide comfort and support to infants and families.
• Operate and adjust NICU medical equipment and evaluate treatments.
