Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a NICU RN to organize and provide comprehensive nursing care across assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will delegate tasks to licensed staff and coordinate lactation education within the nursing division.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree required.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within one month.
• NRP certification within one year.
• PALS certification required when moving to level 3 NICU RN.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure and job descriptions.
• Coordinate lactation education and support within the nursing division.
• Contribute to mission and goals of Essentia Health and regulatory compliance.
