Job summary

At Rose Medical Center, part of HCA HealthONE, the Registered Nurse NICU III PRN delivers specialized care to premature and ill newborns, floats to Well Baby Nursery or Pediatrics as needed, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires Colorado RN licensure, BSN preferred, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and 1–2 years of acute care NICU experience; strong clinical skills and compassionate patient/family interactions are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Colorado RN with current status.
• BSN preferred; acute care experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• NRP, STABLE certifications.
• 1–2 years acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate care based on patient needs.
• Float to Well Baby Nursery or Pediatrics as needed.
• Perform lab testing per protocol and document results.
• Coordinate with the care team and supervise support staff.
• Take call and meet department shift requirements.
