The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time NICU/Registered Nurse to coordinate safe patient care delivery for diverse populations.

You will assess patient and family needs, develop and revise care plans, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in nursing required.
Current Kansas RN Licensure required.
BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
ACLS required for Tele, ICU, and PCU.
Oncology certification required post Surgery.
All certifications must be completed within the first year.

Responsibilities

Coordinate safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse populations.
Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize goals, evaluate care delivery, and revise plans of care.
Delegate care appropriately to optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
