Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ is seeking a day shift, full-time NICU Registered Nurse. The RN coordinates patient care for neonates, oversees other caregivers, and reports to the Nurse Manager.

Requirements include NJ RN licensure, NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program, BLS within 14 days of hire, and 1–2 years NICU experience. NRP or ARC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN (registered nurse) with NJ Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• NRP Certification or ARC.
• 1-2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for a specific patient population to achieve outcomes.
• Direct and supervise care provided by others through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing staff, physicians, and support services.
• Report to the Nurse Manager.
