Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ, seeks a day shift, full-time Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse. The RN Staff Nurse will care for a defined NICU patient population and coordinate care with nursing peers, physicians, and support staff.

Requirements: NJ RN license, NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program, BLS within 14 days, NRP or ARC, and 1–2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery experience. Neonatal certification preferred. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• RN license with New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• NRP Certification or ARC.
• 1-2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery experience.

Responsibilities

• The RN Staff Nurse cares for a specific NICU patient population to achieve outcomes.
• This position directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinates patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager.
