Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide care for newborns in the NICU, including addressing medical needs and supporting rehabilitation and nourishment as required
• Collaborate with the medical team to deliver high-quality, safe care for ill or premature infants
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and document patient progress

Job description

As a NICU RN, you'll work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to provide care for newborns that are either sick or premature. NICU RNs specialize in medical care for newborns at a variety of levels, from intensive, life-saving measures to rehabilitation and nourishment, so you must be well-versed in infant care.
