Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU to join a fast-paced, high-acuity care team. The PRN position covers ER, ICU and Med-Surg settings with newborns and adults.

The role requires RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, and an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy. You will perform assessments, blood gas analysis, and manage equipment while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• Neonatal respiratory care experience or department orientation with competencies required.
• RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general and critical care respiratory procedures.
• Provide neonatal respiratory care in Labor and Delivery.
• Perform blood gas analysis and interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and educate patients and families in adult and neonatal areas.
