The role requires an RRT credential with ACLS, PALS, and NICU/NRP/ STABLE when applicable; 1–3 years acute care experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in acute care preferred.
• RRT certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP/STABLE certifications where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality prior to procedure to facilitate cooperation.
• Performs ABG punctures accurately and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Maintains and tests respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Documents treatments and patient responses clearly and thoroughly.
• Ensures proper PPE use and patient identification per infection control standards.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance for safe respiratory support.
• Communicates with peers and leadership to ensure timely information flow.
• Adheres to respiratory protocols and regulatory standards.
