Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-level nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role supports the mission and strategic goals of the health system.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS, TX RN license or eligibility, and at least 1 year of NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Minimum 1 year NICU RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment and communicates effectively with team and families.
• Provides nursing care using the nursing process and maintains a safe, therapeutic environment throughout care episodes.

Education
