Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the NICU team. Open to new graduates through a residency program and experienced RNs alike.

The program supports transition into practice with seminars, mentoring and structured rounds. The role offers full-time employment (0.90 FTE), with varied day/night shifts, and benefits including tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, and safety features in the NICU.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
• NM or Compact state Nursing License required.
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
• 6 Months of night shifts experience required to start.
• NRP and PALS certifications to be completed after time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications and manage NICU equipment.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists and lactation consultants.
• Provide parental education and emotional support to families.
