Qualifications

• ASN required to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• BSN preferred by department standards.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS per department requirements.
• Mandatory annual education and competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engages in population appropriate communication.
• Clinical reasoning with nursing skills and evidence-based guidelines.
• Collects basic data and follows established protocols.
• Promotes patient independence by teaching and planning care with families.
• Participates in discussion regarding patient care and practice issues.
