Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia (UVA Health) is seeking registered nurses for its NICU and PICU to deliver high-acuity neonatal and pediatric care. You will work with a 60-bed NICU and 25-bed PICU, engaging in collaborative care, rapid assessment, and family-centered support.

Qualifications

BSN required; need to obtain within 5 years of hire
1 year of relevant nursing experience
Licensed to practice as RN in Virginia; BLS required

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for NICU/PICU patients with complex, rapidly changing conditions
Perform continuous assessment and timely interventions
Care for neonates and pediatric patients across age range
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute patient care
Educate and support families throughout care journeys
Engage in evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
