As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans for infants, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
* Attend deliveries, perform neonatal stabilization, and conduct admission assessments of newborns.
* Create and revise care and discharge plans based on patient responses.
* Conduct ongoing assessments and communicate changes to physicians.
* Administer medications and treatments per hospital policy.
* Assist in infant stabilization during transport and support transfer documentation.
* Provide family education on homecare, treatments, adoption, and support groups.
* Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation.
* Delegate tasks appropriately to non-licensed staff following standards of practice.
