Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Registered Nurse to specialize in pediatric and NICU support. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with variable shifts and self-scheduling every 8 weeks.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with the interprofessional team, document care, and promote standards of practice. BSN and BLS required; compact license transfer within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state; BSN required within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• One or more years of Pediatric and/or NICU RN work experience preferred.
• BSN is required as of the last update (4/27/2025); older hires grandfathered to prior requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the care team.
• Develop and adjust individualized plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Coordinate and direct care with the interdisciplinary team to implement the plan of care.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans as needed; ensure timely documentation.
