Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the PEDS NICU to provide expert respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients. The role emphasizes NICU and pediatric competencies, patient safety, and collaboration with the care team.

The position requires completion of neonatal resuscitation within 90 days, NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT credentials, and BCLS within specified timelines. Opportunity to work with students is available as part of clinical care.

Qualifications

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor Required
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with NICU and Pediatric patient care.
• Execute assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.
