Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with pediatric and NICU proficiency to join our team. The RT will handle a full spectrum of respiratory care, execute assignments per policy, and may mentor Respiratory Students in clinical settings.

The role requires NBRC credentials and BCLS, with PALS and neonatal resuscitation completed within specified timelines. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certificate
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor Required
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care
• Execute assignments in accordance with hospital and respiratory policies
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting
