Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Neonatal/Pediatric Dietitian to join the Clinical Nutrition Services team in Newark, DE. The role focuses on medical nutrition therapy for neonates and children, including enteral/parenteral nutrition and growth monitoring.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, RD credential, and a Master’s degree after 2024. Acute care experience is preferred; opportunity for clinical ladder advancement and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
• Acute care clinical dietitian experience preferred.
• Master's degree required after 2024 per credentialing rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Develop and manage enteral and parenteral nutrition plans with the care team.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds with neonatology, pediatrics, nursing, and pharmacy.
• Monitor growth, labs, feeding tolerance, and clinical status to optimize nutrition.
• Support human milk and formula management and family education.
