Job summary

Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking a Clinical Diet Tech to support nutrition care under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). You will collect, analyze, and document patient nutrition information and help implement care plans in a team setting.

The role includes 36 hours per week, day shifts, and benefits. Requires strong attention to detail, math skills, and effective communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting or completion of nutrition-related college level coursework is preferred.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and e-mail applications.
• Advanced math skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collects nutrition screening information and manages nutrition tasks for techs and dietitians.
• Completes nutrition data gathering and analysis.
• Performs calorie counts.
• Documents patient information in the electronic health record as established by protocol.
• Interacts with clinical and non-clinical staff to solve problems.
• Provides patient and community nutrition care and education under the direction of the RDN.
• Participates in NICU nutrition activities under RDN guidance.
• Contributes to department quality improvement projects.
• Delivers exceptional customer service in all interactions.
