Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support NICU nursing operations in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on leadership, staffing, and regulatory readiness to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with a nursing diploma or associate degree and has 2–5 years of experience with some supervisory background. Weekend on-call every 6 weeks may be required.

Qualifications

• RN license and nursing diploma or associate degree.
• 2–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• NICU setting experience emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to business changes.
• Analyze reports to identify trends in patient outcomes and develop action plans.
• Manage service recovery related to physician and bed management issues; support investigations.
• Ensure regulatory, unit, and competency requirements; conduct audits and corrective actions.
• Review staff hours, approve payroll, coordinate staff communications, and manage staffing needs including overtime.
• Oversee onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
