Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs is hiring experienced NICU nurses for a Level 4, 82-bed NICU, a regional referral center serving a seven-state region with ECMO capabilities. The program supports transitions from general inpatient pediatric or adult ICU experience through the New To NICU pathway.

We offer multiple FTEs, with a 20-hour minimum to qualify for benefits. Hourly pay ranges from $38.34 to $57.52, plus relocation assistance up to $4,400 and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• BSN required for RN position.
• One year nursing experience; NICU, pediatric ICU or adult ICU preferred.
• Equivalency: ADN may be considered if BSN is obtained within 3 years; MEPN may substitute.
• Current Colorado RN license or multistate license; BLS/CPR with at least 6 months remaining.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family-Centered Care with a developmentally appropriate approach.
• Deliver care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Document and communicate care plans, outcomes and education needs.
• Utilize EMR for patient data, orders and care coordination.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
