Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Greater Manchester Region is recruiting a NICU-focused nurse to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to monitor and respond to patient needs, ensuring timely communication of changes in condition and treatment responses.

The role requires a Connecticut RN license, BLS and NRP certifications within one year of hire, and NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• BLS and NRP certification required within 12 months of hire.
• NICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, patients and families.
• Communicate patient condition and changes promptly to the team and families.
• Provide age-appropriate care across the life span for the patient population served.
