The NICU requires Level IV experience and current Washington RN license; BLS and NRP must be held at hire. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and completed at least one full year of NICU work post-graduation in a Level IV NICU; clinical rotations or residency programs do not count.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of one full year of RN experience in a NICU after graduation.
• Experience must be in a Level IV NICU.
• Washington RN License upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• NRP certification upon hire.
• At least one full year of Level IV NICU experience.
• Experience must be earned after graduation from a nursing program.
• Nursing school clinical rotations do not count.
• RN residency programs do not count.
• General pediatric, postpartum, newborn nursery, or other non-NICU experience cannot substitute for the required NICU experience.
