Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN-NICU) for night shift. Position requires 2+ years in NICU, active Louisiana RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, and an Associate degree with Bachelor’s preferred.

The RN will act as a leader on the interdisciplinary team, using the Nursing Process to provide high-quality patient care, while ensuring family education and cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in Nursing (RN).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience.
• Current Louisiana RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and tailor teaching for patient/family groups.
• Lead and delegate within the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
