Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years of experience in NICU or critical care.
• Active Louisiana RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the Nursing Process in patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources within Interdisciplinary Team.
• Ensures compliance with nursing standards, regulatory requirements and quality processes.
• Leads collaborative care with other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes.
