Qualifications

• RN license in good standing required
• BLS Certification required
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in basic computer programs (Windows) and electronic medical records

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective patient care and information flow.
• Document care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate care outcomes and adjust plans to improve health results.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards; respond to code situations promptly.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
