Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on the night shift, part-time. The RN will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, under nurse management and shared governance.

Licensure and required certifications are essential upon hire. Minimum 5 years of direct patient care experience is noted, with BLS, NRP/Neonatal Lifesupport credentials required.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care aligned with population characteristics and cultural diversity.
• Collaborates with patients and families, ensuring goals drive the care plan.
