The NICU Chronic Complex Care Unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center provides specialized family-centered care to former pre-term infants requiring chronic airway or respiratory support in a 15-bed technology-dependent NICU. The unit was founded to deliver world-class care and remains at the forefront of neonatal medicine.

We are a level IV tertiary NICU that cares for more than 1400 fragile newborns each year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• LIC-Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Relevant work experience as a nurse preferred.

Responsabilités

• Applies the nursing process to plan and implement patient care and education.
• Collaborates to establish patient goals and evaluates progress.
• Continually uses the nursing process to assess and adjust care.
• Maintains a safe and healthy environment and promotes health.
