Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for the NICU to provide comprehensive primary care in neonatal and infant health under nursing administration and in collaboration with physicians.

The position requires a Master of Nursing, NYS RN license with two years of nursing experience, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification with prescription privileges at hire and maintained thereafter.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Master of Nursing Program.
• Possession of NYS RN license and two years of professional nursing experience.
• Special requirement: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification with prescription privileges required at time of appointment and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care in neonatal/infant health, including education and preventive medicine.
• Perform examinations, assessments, and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Supervision or guidance to nursing and other health care professionals in neonatal care.
