EvergreenHealth, the first Baby-Friendly hospital in America, is seeking an experienced NICU Level III RN to join our Children's Services department in Kirkland, WA. This role delivers direct care to critically ill neonates and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure families receive compassionate, expert support.

Requirements include WA RN license, BLS, PALS (pediatrics), NRP within 4 weeks, and at least 1 year of NICU experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a nursing program and licensed RN in Washington.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
• Current Healthcare Provider PALS certification by date of hire (RNs in Pediatrics).
• NRP certification within 4 weeks of hire.
• 1+ year of inpatient NICU RN experience.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct patient care and acts as patient advocate.
• Assesses nursing needs of an assigned patient group.
• Coordinates patient and family education.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care with patient/family at center.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Communicates information to supervisor and timely updates to physician.
• Documents changes in patient condition and escalates as needed.
• Maintains attendance, punctuality and dependability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
