Job summary

EvergreenHealth, the first Baby-Friendly hospital in America, seeks an experienced NICU Level III nurse to join the Children’s Services department. You will provide direct patient care, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and the care team in a dynamic NICU setting.

Requirements include a WA RN license, BLS, PALS (Pediatrics), and NRP within 4 weeks of hire, with 1+ year NICU inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and WA RN license.
• Current BLS certification by date of hire.
• PALS certification by date of hire (Pediatrics).
• NRP certification within 4 weeks of hire.
• 1+ year of inpatient NICU RN experience.
• Preferred: MSN or BSN advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care plans.
• Educate patients and families related to care.
• Document changes in patient condition promptly.
