Job summary

UAB Medical West is seeking a registered nurse (RN) in McCalla, AL. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Alabama.
• BSN or equivalent nursing degree.
• BLS certification or eligible within 30 days of hire.
• NRP certification or eligible within 30 days of hire.
• NICU/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and plan individualized care.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
