Job summary

Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando, FL, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Developmental Care Collaborative (DCC) in the NICU. You will provide family-centered care to medically complex infants, collaborating with neonatology, respiratory care, nutrition, rehabilitation, and developmental services.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to medically complex neonatal patients.
Monitor and manage patients with advanced respiratory support needs.
Support feeding plans and collaborate with nutrition, speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy teams.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
Educate and support families throughout the hospitalization journey.
Coordinate discharge preparation and caregiver training.
Advocate for developmental and family-centered care practices.
Collaborate with pulmonology, respiratory therapy, and additional specialty services as appropriate.
