Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Gathers information and documents psychosocial needs of patients and families through meetings and consultations.
  • Ensures patients and families receive appropriate clinical services and discharge planning.
  • Provides patients and families with developmental services including group activities and interventions.
  • Maintains a safe environment with materials and supplies for therapeutic play and documented attendance.
  • Supervises, orients, and trains volunteers and interns to support patient interactions.
  • Assists Manager with HR activities, staff orientation, training and committee work.
  • Supervises department staff, delegating patient care services and projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
