Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

• Required Work Experience: High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information from nursing reports and consultations to assess patient and family needs.
• Ensures patients and families receive developmentally appropriate services in group and bedside settings.
• Maintains a safe activity room with materials and supplies for play and interventions.
• Supervises, orients, and trains volunteers and interns delivering patient interactions and in-kind donations.
• Provides positive, supportive attitude with customers and reports suggestions for improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
