Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a Charge Nurse for the NICU during night shifts. You will lead shift nursing care, coordinate a multi-disciplinary team, and ensure high-quality outcomes per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• ASN, required.
• BSN, preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current NRP.

Responsibilities

• The Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
