Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a Charge Nurse for the NICU to lead shift-based nursing care and coordinate a multidisciplinary team under the Nursing Director's supervision.

As a NICU Charge RN, you will ensure delivery of high-quality care, mentor staff, and support service excellence while meeting policy standards. Minimum NICU experience and Florida RN licensure are required, with ASN and BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications preferred.

• BSN is preferred but not required.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current NRP.

Position Summary:

The Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with Manatee Health policies and procedures, standards and philosophy. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
