Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL seeks an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to lead antimicrobial stewardship and coordinate neonatal/pediatric dosing initiatives. You will work with NICU, PICU, and pediatric teams to optimize antibiotic use and patient safety.

The role involves evaluating NICU TPN orders, writing NICU/pediatric TPN as needed, and supporting education and policy updates with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or a Master’s degree is required.
• Pharmacy residency training or pediatric board certification preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical care experience in neonates/pediatrics recommended.
• Licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
• Review and dose pediatric and neonatal medications and IV fluids.
• Review NICU TPN orders and write NICU/pediatric TPN as needed with physician input.
• Participate in daily NICU/PICU rounds and update related policies.
• Lead education for staff on antimicrobials and safety initiatives.
• Support Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Pediatrics committees.
• Oversee staff development and training within NICU/PICU/PEDS programs.
