Cardinal Staffing Services is seeking a Nickel Prep Technician in Toledo, OH, to clean and prepare small metal parts for processing on the 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12 midnight). You will handle parts, use basic hand tools, and ensure safety and quality standards in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting and moving parts. Competitive pay is offered along with benefits and production bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and basic counting/math.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Physically able to lift and handle small metal parts throughout the shift.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and cleaning materials.

Responsibilities

• Count, sort, and prepare small metal parts.
• Rack parts or place into baskets for processing.
• Clean metal parts using lacquer thinner, wire brushes, and air guns.
• Use hand tools to bend wire as needed for processing.
• Follow safety and quality procedures to ensure proper handling and processing of parts.
