Job Story
The Maintenance Support Technician ensures technicians have thetools, materials, and logistical support needed to performefficiently. This position focuses on organization, transport, andreadiness—helping keep the hangar running smoothly andsafely.
Job Duties
- Retrieve, transport, and deliver tools, parts, and equipment tomaintenance personnel as requested.
- Maintain inventory of consumables, hardware, and commonly usedmaterials.
- Keep work areas, tool rooms, and hangar floors clean, organized,and hazard-free.
- Support technicians during maintenance tasks by staging equipmentor preparing work areas.
- Track tool usage and ensure all tools are returned, accounted for,and in serviceable condition.
- Assist with moving ground support equipment (GSE) and positioningmaintenance stands, ladders, and platforms.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as logging parts, updatingrecords, and completing checklists.
- Follow all safety procedures, FAA regulations, and companypolicies.
- Respond quickly to requests from supervisors and technicians.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, maintenance, or aircraftenvironment
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Additional Information
This position requires a valid driver's license
Must be at least 16 years old
Environmental Factors
- Active aircraft hangar environment with exposure to noise, movingequipment, and varying temperatures.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safetyglasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchangeinformation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extendedperiods.
