Job Story
In a hangar adjacent to McConnell AFB that once housed Boeing AirForce One modification facilities, the CAMO team at NIAR providesproduction design, initial and Supplemental Type Certification,instrumentation installation, modifications and fieldsupport/repair. We are looking for a Coordinator to join ourfast-growing team!
Job Summary
- The CAMO Coordinator assists Operations department in removingbarriers to the progress of the assigned work scope.
- Assists operations with workforce guidance and first linecommunication.
- Serves as a liaison to support functions including but not isolatedto Engineering, Methods, Material Logistics and Quality.
- Coordinates meetings for Special topics that requirecross-functional inputs. Manages and monitors governance forassigned work scope.
Job Duties
- Serves as a subject matter expert in a functional area; educatesstaff to ensure consistent and equitable application of policiesand procedures.
- Supports the programs and services provided by the CAMO byperforming varied or related processes which may include creatingand maintaining databases and websites, monitoring, facilitating,and enforcing compliance with established criteria, guidelines andstandards, etc.
- Problem solves and trouble shoots to resolve issues.
- Provides education and/or training to ensure the effectiveness of the program.
- Compiles data and reports; provides status updates and reports asneeded

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a warehouse, maintenance, or aircraftenvironment
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Forklift certification, or ability and willingness to obtaincertification
Environmental Factors
- Active aircraft hangar environment with exposure to noise, movingequipment, and varying temperatures.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safetyglasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
Additional Information
- This position requires a valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 16 years old
Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchangeinformation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
