The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is looking for Avionics Technicians to join the NIAR MRO team in Wichita, KS. This role involves performing functional tests, troubleshooting, and repairs of avionics and electrical systems in an environment adjacent to McConnell AFB.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with four years of experience in aircraft systems, and preferably possess a General FCC Operators Radio Telephone License. The job offers a full-time position with a second shift work schedule.

This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a "U.S. Person”.
In a hangar adjacent to McConnell AFB that once housed Boeing AirForce One modification facilities, the MRO team at NIAR provides production design, initial and Supplemental Type Certification, instrumentation installation, and modifications. We are looking for Avionics Technicians to join our team!
Initiates, leads, and performs functional tests, troubleshooting, and/or repair of avionics and electrical systems. Prepares aircraft for flight test and airworthiness certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Four (4) years of experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft electrical and avionics systems, or equivalent combination of related technical school or training and experience.
General Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Operators Radio Telephone License preferred.
