Job summary

Wichita State University’s NIAR ARC Robotics and Automation department is seeking an assistant on a part-time, on-site basis at Wichita, KS. The position requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week and access to EAR/ITAR controlled technologies with U.S. export control eligibility.

The assistant will support administrative and technical tasks, work closely with supervisors, and may mentor others while contributing to various campus projects within intelligent manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn from specialists in intelligent manufacturing.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate ideas effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
